Cathy Woolf came from southern Indiana and grew up in the Lake Worth area, going to Lake Worth Junior High and Lake Worth High School. She studied at Palm Beach Junior College and Florida Atlantic University and married Joe in 1970. Before real estate she taught high school American History, managed a Montessori school and worked as a nurse.
In 1984 Cathy earned her broker’s license, the same year she and Joe opened Joseph Woolf Realty on Lantana Road. Over the years she served as office manager, secretary, Realtor and broker, and she and Joe served on the Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club and the Board of Realtors before retiring in 2016.

Nursing Runs in the Family
Caring for people runs in the family. Jonathan’s grandmother, Daisy Knight, was a nurse to Marjorie Merriweather Post of the Post family, working at Mar-a-Lago, Mrs. Post’s favorite estate. Cathy was a nurse too before she became a real estate broker, and Jonathan’s wife, Heather, was an ER nurse and a hospice nurse.
